Can you believe that its OCTOBER already? Time is just whizzing past, even though at various points along the way, it does briefly seem to stand still. Today is the one year anniversary of receiving our Letter of Approval (LOA) from the Chinese government. This was the document that gave us permission to bring PanSuo into our family. We had waited 81 days for that document after sending our Letter of Intent (LOI) to them. Then, we had to wait again.... until October 22 for the Travel Approval (TA) from China that allowed us to enter their country to pick her up. Hurry up and wait, hurry up and wait!
ElleAnna has been in the United States for 44 weeks as of yesterday. Amazing how time flies. I don't think any of us can recall our world before she joined our family. She is such a remarkable little girl and we love her dearly. She truly gave us something to be very thankful for at Thanksgiving 2007 - as we ate Pizza Hut and HagenDaaz in Shenyang, China. :-)
