For the last high school football game of Bryant's Sophmore year, we had a long drive (over three hours away). We actually played in another time zone if that gives you any indication of the distance. The weather started beautiful, but did get quite chilly as the night drug on. We had a couple of boys get hit a little too hard which is never a plus. We actually had already lost the game (by getting 45'd) in the third quarter, but they let the clock run to finish it out. Bryant did a great job in spite of the atmosphere and made lots of terrific tackles. We got home after midnight though... so getting up on Halloween morning was little bit painful, but you know, chocolate candy always helps one function better :-).
