It never ceases to amaze me - the incredible respect at a rodeo for the American Flag. EVERYONE removes their hats without being reminded. EVERYONE stands as the rider carrying the flag makes her way around the arena. EVERYONE participates in the singing of the national anthem. It certain is inspiring and encouraging when so many other parts of our country are not quite as concerned about the dignity that it deserves.
