Sunday, November 18

Its 7:49 in the evening, Saturday, at home. My family is at a wedding. Its also Julie's birthday there (HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JULIE!). Its already 9:49, Sunday morning here. We are all re-packed for the next flight which will leave at about 1:30pm. We moved all the heavy stuff from our checked bags to our carry ons, so we ought to be good. Its already Amy's Birthday here (HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AMY!) and Len's too (HOW'S YOUR FIRST BIRTHDAY SINCE YOU BECAME A DADDY X2 - GOOD WE HOPE).

Three of the other families - Linda/David, Ruby and her friend, and Casey and family - left for the airport at 6am today. They are adopting non-special needs children. Ruby will be meeting her daughter already today. Going with us to the airport at 11:30am today are Judy/James and Brock/Theresa. Our three families are adopting special needs children. Two of us are adopting little girls with Cleft Lip/Palate and the other is adopting a little girl with cardiac issues. All six of our families will meet up again in Guangzhou later this week - WITH OUR NEW CHILDREN! Its hard to believe that is getting so close!

We called home to talk with Trevor (our pagers went off and we needed to let him know that it was not likely we could respond) and also talked with Chris about the wedding/reception(CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN, LYNDSAY AND CODY).

We will land in Shenyang at 2:40pm. A local guide will take us to the hotel and get us set up for the evening. We will learn the appointment time for tomorrow morning - when we meet ElleAnna - probably less than 24 hours away now! Its hard to believe that its almost time! The boys are watching The Lady in the Water on TV until we are ready to check out. Better sweep the room one last time to be sure Alex's iPod isn't laying around (no, he hasn't found it yet) and then we'll head out. I will sign off for now. We'll post pix either tonight or in the morning before we go pick up ElleAnna.

Take care and have a great weekend - WE ARE!
