Sunday Night is Winding Up....

.... and most of the suitcases are packed. We have no idea, however, if they will all fit into the trunk of the car - hmmm, sounds like the next problem... My sister loaned us a portable DVD player to take along, so the boys are glad for that. We packed Mulan and Monsters, Inc. We'll have to get Shrek 3 before we leave Denver so that they can watch it a million times over the next two weeks. Just what we want ElleAnna to learn - all the gross bodily noises that Shrek makes!

I never made it in to work today, so I guess tomorrow will be it for me. This afternoon, Ken showed his sub the lists and lesson plans he has left her. The boys found a soft kitten that purrs and snores, so they are packing that for her - along with the frog that sound real. It has a red light in its mouth, however, which blinded Alex the first time because he didn't think it was that bright and he had it pointed right at his eyes.

Tomorrow is Veteran's Day - so the guys will all participate in a local parade. We had to buy a bunch of candy today to throw from the floats. We are thankful to the men and women of our nation, as well as their families, who have served in uniform. Just think, next year, Elle can ride with her brothers and father, throwing candy and waving flags of the new country which has become her home.

IN A WEEK PLUS ONE DAY, SHE WILL BE IN OUR ARMS! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!
