Monday, November 12

The countdown has begun! Today is my last day at work; Ken and the boys' last day at school.

We will leave for Denver tomorrow morning. Our flight leaves there on Wednesday morning at 6am, which means we need to check in by 4am. We'll be dragging, but who knows if the excitement will even let us sleep the night before anyway. Sleeping on the plane may help pass the time though. We'll have a short stop in San Francisco and then on to Beijing. We land there on Thursday the 15th, mid-afternoon. We'll rest the remainder of the day and then, on Friday, we'll tour The Forbidden City, The Summer Palace, and TianAnMen Square. Saturday, we will go to The Great Wall. Sunday, we'll fly to Shenyang - to meet our daughter on Monday morning.

Its hard to fathom that we are THIS CLOSE! In less than a week, she will be in our arms! Ken commented how difficult it is to know that we'll be in China a couple days before we have ElleAnna. She will be within a few hours of us. He wanted to know why we couldn't go get her the very first thing :-).
