Fertile Mertyl Strikes Again...

We discovered these kittens recently. The momma had brought them to one of the sheds near the house. They were all nursing and dear, innocent ElleAnna walked right up to them, picked them up and started petting them. They didn't even care. Since then, she drags them into the house, carries them around the yard, you name it. They still hiss at her sometimes, but MAYBE, just MAYBE, we'll have some tame kittens for once! This is probably Mertyl's thousandth litter, but this would be the very first time any of her babies have been tame.

Notice the chocolate mustache. She HAD TO HAVE WATER. So, Bryant took her to get some. Then, she discovered the marshmallows in my hot chocolate. The next thing I knew, I had an unopened bottle of water and she had inhaled my hot chocolate....

Ask Mrs. Montgomery about learning how slick ElleAnna is when playing "Find the Quarter". Nobody believed us that Elle cheated. They soon found out why we were trying to warn them!

Monday, September 14 - HSJV Football

Alex is number two in these pix. He has on long, black socks with tape around the top of the calves. Bryant was on the "chain gang". Obviously, the photos turn out lots better and can go to the end of the game when it starts at 6pm. The sun stays up longer! :-) Anyway, it was a victory for us. GO BIG GREEN!
